The funds will help mitigate ongoing project requirements, including bank loan payments, and ensure the timely delivery of homes. This sale marks a significant step towards resolving the long-standing issues faced by homebuyers.

Suraksha Group has revalidated the RERA registration for seven stalled projects under Jaypee Infratech Ltd, covering over 10,000 units in Delhi-NCR. This revalidation will expedite construction and make it easier for homebuyers to access home loans. Phased deliveries are set to begin in December 2025, providing much-needed relief to thousands of homebuyers awaiting their homes.

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is considering extending the penalty waiver for homebuyers unable to register their flats due to developers’ outstanding dues. Introduced in July 2024, the waiver has benefited over 6,500 homebuyers, saving them penalties ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh. Homebuyer groups are pushing for an extension as the waiver period ends on January 31, 2025. The final decision will be made at the upcoming board meeting.

The Allahabad High Court has dismissed a petition challenging the Noida Authority’s demolition order for illegally constructed shops in the Gardenia Gateway project, Sector 75. The court upheld the decision, highlighting the absence of an occupancy certificate and sub-lease deed, which rendered the occupants’ possession unauthorized. This ruling supports the Noida Authority’s efforts to enforce compliance and ensure that unauthorized constructions are not permitted to continue.

The Noida Authority plans to repurpose underutilized infrastructure projects to generate additional revenue. Key projects include the Rs 243-crore multilevel parking facility in Sector 18 and the Rs 158-crore bus terminal in Sector 82. The plans involve converting the bus terminal’s upper floors into corporate offices or healthcare facilities while maintaining bus operations on the ground floor. These initiatives aim to maximize public investments and reinvest funds into the city’s development.

The Residents Welfare Association (RWA) of Kendriya Vihar, Sector 51, Noida, has urged the Noida Authority to address the encroachment of makeshift shanties on the green belt opposite their society. The area now hosts 8 to 10 huts, raising sanitation and safety concerns. Despite notifying the authorities, no action has been taken. The RWA seeks immediate intervention to prevent further encroachment and restore the green belt.
